Ellie Claughton for Plane Paper will present Odd Shaped Balls by Richard Sheridan at the Old Red Lion pub theatre in north London from 31 May to 25 June 2016.

This one man show raises awareness of issues surrounding homosexuality in sport and ultimately asks the question: 'how would you feel if your sexuality prevented you from playing the sport you loved?'

The production enjoyed a run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015 and transfers to London for a limited season, directed by Andy Twyman.

"Rugby player James Hall has the world at his feet. But when his biggest secret is revealed, his whole life begins to crumble around him, and James must decide if he has the courage not only to be true to himself, but also to be a role model for others."

Plane Paper Theatre describe themselves as a "young, vibrant company dedicated to creating a platform for emerging theatre makers to develop and produce original work".

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
