Papatango Award-winning play, ‘Here’, to open in London

The world premiere will take place at Southwark Playhouse.

See the world premiere of Clive Judd’s Here at Southwark Playhouse this autumn. Here begins previews on 11 November, with an opening night on 15 November, and performances to 3 December.

Set in the West Midlands, Here follows a family who remember the highs and lows of their lives. As they try to make a future, the family realise they’re bound by their past mistakes.

Here won the 2022 Papatango Prize from over 1,500 entries. Previous Papatango plays include Foxfinder and Old Bridge.

George Turvey directs Lucy Benjamin, Mark Frost, Sam Baker-Jones and Hannah Millward in Here. The show features set and costume design by Jasmine Swan, lighting design by Bethany Gupwell, and sound design and composition by Asaf Zohar.
