Peter Pan Goes Wrong to return to London at Alexandra Palace Theatre this Christmas
Mischief Theatre's Peter Pan Goes Wrong is set to return to London this Christmas, with a run at the newly-reopened Alexandra Palace Theatre forming part of a UK tour.
The production, which last ran in London in 2016, sees the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society - the fictitious drama group at the centre of The Play That Goes Wrong - present their festive production of JM Barrie's Peter Pan.
Having premiered at the Pleasance Theatre in 2013, the production ran at the Apollo Theatre in 2015 and 2016, with the production being filmed for television and broadcast on BBC on New Year's Eve in 2016.
Embarking on a UK tour from 19th October, Peter Pan Goes Wrong will run at the Alexandra Palace Theatre from 13th December 2019 to 5th January 2020. Tickets go on sale on Friday.
There are two Mischief Theatre shows currently running in the West End - The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery - and the company is about to embark on a year-long, three production residency at the Vaudeville Theatre including the new shows Groan Ups and Magic Goes Wrong.
Written by Mischief company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, Peter Pan Goes Wrong is directed by Adam Meggido with set by Sion Scullion, costumes by Roberto Surace, lighting by Matt Haskins and sound by Ella Wahlstrom. Casting for the production is yet to be announced.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong is at Alexandra Palace Theatre from 13th December 2019 to 5th January 2020.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong tickets are available from Friday.
