After a successful run at the VAULT Festival 2016, award-winning theatre company PLAY return with a special celebration to mark the company's one year of making new work, PLAY: Birthday Edition which will run at the Hackney Showrooms in east London from 15 to 18 June 2016.
Produced by Rebecca Durbin, PLAY brings together a company of creatives to form four brand new plays, with four writers, four directors and ten actors who are given them just two weeks to collaborate, devise and create exciting new work.
Featuring work by Tristan Bernays, Matilda Ibini, Sarah Page and Stuart Slade, the cast will include Aaron Gordon, Benjamin Cawley, Eddie Arnold, Eleanor Williams, Florence Roberts, Hamish Rush, Isabella Laughland, Rebecca Durbin, Rehanna McDonald, and Thomas Flynn.
The PLAY company are fresh from some of the best theatres in London and across the UK including The National Theatre, Royal Court, Soho, Donmar Warehouse, Almeida, Finborough, Southwark Playhouse and the Old Vic.
