Production images of Girl From The North Country at The Old Vic released
Production images have been released for world premiere of The Old Vic production of Girl From The North Country, which opens this week.
Written and directed by Conor McPherson, the play features music form the repertoire of Nobel Prize winning musician Bob Dylan, and is about a guesthouse in Minnesota.
The cast features Arinzé Kene, Debbie Kurup, Ron Cook, Bronagh Gallagher, Sheila Atim, Shirley Henderson, Ciaran Hinds, Claudia Jolly, Jim Norton, Sam Reid, Michael Shaeffer, Jack Shalloo, and Stanley Townsend.
The play tells the stories of the lost and lonely people who rock up at the guesthouse, and features the Dylan songs "Hurricane", "Slow Train", "License to Kill" and "You Ain't Going Nowhere".
Girl From The North Country has designs by Rae Smith, and the musical director is Alan Berry.
