The Birmingham Stage Company production of Proof by David Auburn, will be at the Arts theatre for a limted 4 week run 19 Feb to 17 March 2007.

Directed by John Harrison, the play features Sally Oliver (Catherine), Neal Foster (Hal), Aislinn Sands (Claire), Terence Booth (Robert).

It is designed by Norman Coates with lighting by Jo Dawson.

Proof is the story of Catherine's father, a maths genius who in the last ten years of his life suffered a mental collapse. When one of his ex-students, Hal, starts searching through his papers, he discovers a proof of a ground-breaking theory. But the discovery has a profound effect on Catherine, Hal and her family, as the startling truth beings to emerge.
