Raine's Rabbit at Trafalgar Studios from 5 Sep 2006

It has been confirmed that Rabbit, by Nina Raine, which had a 3 week run at the fringe venue, Old Red Lion in May this year, is to transfer to the West End's Trafalgar Studios (2), opening 7 Sep 2006, following previews from 5 Sep - running to 7 Oct 2006.

The play will feature Charlotte Randle (Bella) , Adam James (Richard), Hilton McRae (Father) ,Ruth Everett, Martin Turner, Alan Westaway, Susannah Wise.

It is directed by Nina Raine, designed by Jamie Todd, lighting by Colin Grenfell, sound by Fergus O'Hare, costumes by Giorgio Armani, produced by Joanna Morgan Productions Ltd.

It is Bella's 29th Birthday. Friends and former lovers meet for a drink to celebrate. But as the Bloody Marys flow, the bar becomes a battlefield. In the uncivil war between the sexes, what happens when the females have the real fire-power - stockpiles of testosterone, lethal wit and explosive attitude? And what happens when patriarchy gets personal: when it's your own father who is tragic and terminal?
