Rehearsal shots for Disco Pigs at Trafalgar Studios
Enda Walsh's two-hander returns to London with Evanna Lynch and Colin Campbell
Opening at the Trafalgar Studios on 18th July, Disco Pigs stars Evanna Lynch and Colin Campbell are currently in rehearsals. Directed by John Haidar, Walsh's award-winning play is celebrating its 20th anniversary since exploding onto the theatrical scene at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1997.
Focusing on two friends, Pig and Runt, born at the same time on the same day in the same hospital, it's a tragic look at how the nature of friendship can be changed forever. When two people are as close as they are, speaking in their own language, playing by their own rules and creating a world for themselves in which boundaries blur between truth and illusion, the fairytale cannot last forever, and as pubescent desires erupt, the innocence can be destroyed.
Disco Pigs begins previews at the Trafalgar Studios on 12th July. Tickets are on sale now.
