The hit musical comedy *Titanique* has confirmed plans for a West End run later this year. The show is currently performing at Off-Broadway venue the Daryl Roth Theatre.

Tell me more, tell me more! Secret Cinema will return in 2023 with a new immersive experience based on Grease. [*Grease: The Live Experience*](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/show/28259-secret-cinema-presents-grease-the-live-experience) is at the NEC in Birmingham from 26 July to 13 August, with tickets on sale soon. 

Press material states that during the performance: “fans can sing and dance their hearts out to the classic film soundtrack, roam the corridors with the Pink Ladies, watch the T-Birds at work in the auto shop, or face off against the jocks on the sports field - capped off with an unforgettable enhanced screening of the much-loved musical film.” Audiences will be transported into the world of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski ahead of the American National Bandstand dance contest. 

The *Grease* Secret Cinema experience marks the company’s first time in Birmingham. Previous shows include *Bridgerton*, *Guardians of the Galaxy*, and *Dirty Dancing*. ## What to Watch For

- Before achieving iconic status as a movie-musical sensation in the late 1970s, *Grease* was originally a Tony-nominated Broadway musical, debuting in February 1972. The show instantly became a cultural phenomenon and was the longest-running Broadway musical of its time. 
- *Grease* is the first Secret Cinema event to be in Birmingham. The company’s previous immersive events in the U.K., for films including *Moulin Rouge!*, *Casino Royale*, and *Blade Runner*, took place in London.
- Before landing the role of Danny Zuko in the film, John Travolta was already familiar with the title. The actor played Doody in the Broadway production of the *Grease* musical in the early ‘70s.
- *Grease* is the word all over England! In June, *Grease the Musical* returned to the West End at the Dominion Theatre, featuring guest star appearances on specific dates. Peter Andre, Jason Donovan, and Louise Redknapp all feature in the blockbuster revival in the West End.
