The improvisational show Sh!t-faced Shakespeare will return to London this summer, presenting their unique adaptation of Macbeth. Sh!t-faced Shakespeare: Macbeth is at Leicester Square Theatre from 30 June - 11 September.

The Macbeth storyline remains the same as the original William Shakespeare work, following the Scottish general as he wreaks havoc after learning of a prophecy that he'll become king. But, for this production, one cast member must perform Macbeth while intoxicated.

In press material, "fair is foul and foul is fair in this tale of prophecy gone slightly off the rails. Perhaps an inebriated actor will help the process along?"

The Sh!t-faced Shakespeare: Macbeth rotating cast is completed by Natalie Boakye, Flora Sowerby, Stacey Norris, John Mitton, James Murfitt, Will Seaward and Matthew Seager.

Previous works taken on by the company include Alice in Wonderland (renamed to Alice Through the Cocktail Glass) and Hamlet.
