Only one week after announcing a 4 month extension Simply Heavenly, has now posted closing notices for 19 Feb 2005 at the Trafalgar Studios.
Simply Heavenly opened at the Trafalgar Studios on 25 Oct 2004, following previews from 15 Oct, to good notices from the popular press: NICHOLAS DE JONGH for THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Infectious pleasure."LYNN GARDNER for THE GUARDIAN says, "Not heavenly, but rather nice." This musical comedy has book and lyrics by Langston Hughes and music by David Martin. It is directed by Josette Bushell-Mingo, designed by Rob Howell, lighting by Paul Anderson, choreography by Paul J Medford and sound by Nick Lidster. It is produced by The Ambassador Theatre Group, Broadway Partners and Incidental Colman.
