The Blues Brothers Xmas Special at the Arts Theatre

Hartshorn-Hook Productions present The Blues Brothers Xmas Special, devised by Louis Hartshorn and Brian Hook, at the Arts Theatre from 26 November 2015 to 10 January 2016, with an opening night set for 3 December.

The production is directed by Joshua Mumby, with lighting by Charlie Morgan Jones, choreography by Lily Howkins and sound by Keegan Curran for SFL. The cast includes David Christopher Brown (Joliet Jake Blues), Joshua Mumby (Elwood Blues), Simon Ray Harvey (Ray) and Hannah Kee, Sasi Strallen, T'Shan Williams as the Stax Sisters.

The show is described as "a live tribute show. Jake, Elwood and co tear through the best in American blues, soul and rock 'n' roll classics including Gimme Some Lovin', Think, Soul Man, Minnie The Moocher and Jailhouse Rock."
