‘The Great British Bake Off Musical’ to open in London

There’s no soggy bottoms here!

On your marks, get set, bake! After a world premiere in 2022, The Great British Bake Off Musical comes to the West End next year. The Great British Bake Off Musical runs at the Noel Coward Theatre from 25 February to 13 May. Book The Great British Bake Off Musical tickets on London Theatre.

The Great British Bake Off Musical is based on the hit cooking competition show, The Great British Bake Off. Characters include policemen, carers, vegans, fashionistas, and sixth form students as they come together with a shared love of baking.

"I am thrilled to bits that The Great British Bake Off Musical is going to the West End. It is an uplifting, funny, heartfelt story, which will have you singing and dancing out of the theatre with a huge smile. A theatrical sweet treat. Just what we need right now," said Bake Off television judge, Prue Leith.

The Great British Bake Off Musical cast features John Owen-Jones as judge Phil Hollinghurst, based on Paul Hollywood. The cast includes Aharon Rayner, Charlotte Wakefield, Claire Moore, Damian Humbley, Jay Saighal, Michael Cahill and Scott Paige. Further casting will be revealed at a later date.

The musical features an original book, music and lyrics by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary. Rachel Kavanaugh directs, and the show features choreography by Georgina Lamb, set, costume and cake designs by Alice Power, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Ben Harrison.

The Great British Bake Off Musical is at the Noel Coward Theatre.
