The Last Cigarette closes early 23 May 2009

The Chichester Festival production of The Last Cigarette, has posted early closing notices for 23 May 2009, after a run of only a few weeks. (Originally booking to 1 Aug 2009).

Starring Felicity Kendal, Nicholas le Prevost , Jasper Britton, the play opened at the Trafalgar Studio One Theatre, 28 April 2009, following previews from 21 April.

It is adapted by Hugh Whitemore and Simon Gray from Gray's The Smoking Diaries.

Directed by Richard Eyre, designed by Rob Howell, lighting by John Driscoll, music by George Fenton.

Draws on his many volumes of Simon Gray's memoirs, including Fat Chance, Enter a Fox, The Smoking Diaries and Coda.
