The Taming of the Shrew full cast at Shakespeare's Globe

The full cast has been announced for The Taming Of The Shrew, which opens at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre 4 July 2012, following previews from 23 June - running to 13 Oct 2012.

Joining previously mentioned Simon Paisley Day as 'Petruchio' and Samantha Spiro as Katherine, are Michael Bertenshaw (Gremio), Pearce Quigley (Grumio), Joseph Timms (Lucentio), Helen Weir (Widow), Sarah MacRae (Bianca), Pip Donaghy (Baptista Minola), Tom Anderson, David Beames, Jamie Beamish, Patrick Driver, Tom Godwin, Christopher Keegan , Rick Warden.

It is directed by Toby Frow and designed by Mike Britton.

Brutish, fortune-hunting scoundrel Petruchio tames his wealthy shrewish wife, Katharina in this battle of the sexes comedy.
