"THE WOMAN IN BLACK" AT THE FORTUNE THEATRE NOW BOOKING TO 30 AUG 03

The long running thriller The Woman in Black, has announced a new 6 month booking period covering performances from 3 Mar 03 to 30 Aug 03 at the Fortune Theatre.

This ghost story written by Stephen Mallatratt from the novel by Susan Hill, opened at the Fortune Theatre on 7 June 1989 . (The show first opened at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough in 1987). It is directed by Robin Herford, designed by Michael Holt with lighting by Kevin Sleep.

This two-hander currently features Robert Demeger & Timothy Watson, the 24th combination!

When a solicitor goes to wind up the affairs of a deceased woman,he learns about her strange reclusive life,while alone in a remote and strange house.Years later , desperate to exorcise the ghosts of the past he recounts his experiences.
