‘Tina: The Tina Turner Musical’ announces new cast from June 2022

The new Tina: The Tina Turner Musical will take over from 29 June. Aisha Jawando will continue in the role of Tina Turner. She will share the role with Elesha Paul Moses. Caleb Roberts will take over the role of Ike Turner. He’s currently in Cinderella at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.
The Tina the Musical cast includes Paula Kay as Tina’s mother Zelma, Charis Alexandra as Tina’s sister Alline Bullock, George Jennings as Tina’s Manager Roger Davies, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother, Kelly Hampson as Ike and Tina’s manager Rhonda Graam, Gregory Haney as Tina’s father Richard Bullock, Cordell Mosteller as Raymond Hill, Chris Grahamson as Phil Spector and Terry Britten, Joseph Richardson as Erwin Bach, and Thomas Sutcliffe as Jon Carpenter and Martyn Ware.
The ensemble features Megan Armstrong, Turrell Barrett-Wallace, Vanessa Dumatey, Joey James, Karis Anderson, Marie Finlayson, Natorii Illidge, Lauren Allan, Richard Appiah-Sarpong, Joshua Da Costa, Miles Anthony Daley, Livvy Evans, Imogen Rose Hart, Jaz Robinson, Brad Veitch, Saran Webb and Samuel J Weir.

Tina the Musical is written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, with direction by Phyllida Lloyd. The show features choreography by Anthony van Laast, scenic and costume designs by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Bruno Poet, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
