Waiting For Godot extends booking to 26 July 2009

Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot, which opens at the Haymarket Theatre 6 May 2009, following previews from 30 April, has extended its booking period a month to 26 July 2009. (It was originally on a limited run to 28 June!)

Directed by Sean Mathias, the play features Ian McKellen (Estragon), Patrick Stewart (Vladimir), Simon Callow (Pozzo), Ronald Pickup (Lucky).

It is designed by Stephen Brimson Lewis, lighting by Paul Pyant. It is produced by Theatre Royal Haymarket Company in partnership with Duncan C. Weldon Productions Ltd.

Waiting for Godot follows two consecutive days in the lives of tramps, Vladimir and Estragon , who divert themselves by clowning around, joking and arguing, while waiting expectantly and unsuccessfully for the mysterious Godot.
