Waterloo East Theatre First season programme

Waterloo East Theatre, a brand new fringe theatre under the railway arches at Waterloo East, has announced its First season programme.

TOM CREAN - ANTARCTIC EXPLORER, written and performed by Aidan Dooley, 2 to 4 Sep 2010. A one-man show. The life-story of Tom Crean, intrepid Antarctic explorer and one of Ireland's unsung heroes. Crean was one of the few men to survive three iconic expeditions: Discovery, Terra Nova and Endurance - and served with both Scott and Shackleton. His story is a testament of human fortitude against the elements.

SUNSET BITCH, musical comedy starring Jessica Martin as Veronique Raymond, 8 to 26 Sep 2010. One-woman show . She shares her journey from rags to riches (and back again), and with a little help from her showbiz pals we discover why she became the Sunset Bitch.

DEPARTURE LOUNGE, a musical comedy by Dougal Irvine, 28 Sep to 31 Oct 2010. Delayed at Malaga Airport after a week in the sun to celebrate their graduation from school, four less-than-innocent 18 year olds caught between adolescence and adulthood reminisce about their time together.
