Well transfers to Apollo from 29 Dec 2008

Well, by Lisa Kron, will transfer to the Apollo Theatre on 30 Dec 2008, following previews from 29 Dec - running for 32 performances only to 24 Jan 2009.

(The play was originally at the Trafalgar Studios Two from 4 to 27 Sep 2008).

Well will feature original cast members Natalie Casey & Sarah Miles and will be joined by TV comedy actor Oliver Chris marking his West End debut.

It is directed by Eve Leigh, designed by Helen Goddard and produced by Henry Filloux-Bennett, Stephen Makin and The Fish Partnership.

Lisa is a New York performance artist who used to be very ill. Her mother is a Middle American housewife who healed her racially divided neighbourhood, but just can't get well herself. Lisa's trying to tell us about it, but it turns out that putting your attention-averse mother onstage with you is a really bad idea.

Sarah Miles is perhaps best known for her role in "Ryan's Daughter". Natalie Casey is known from TV's "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps". Oliver Chris is best-known for his roles in the TV comedies "The Office" and "Green Wing".
