WHITE CHRISTMAS CANCELLED!!

Irvin Berlin's White Christmas, which was due to open at the Savoy Theatre in September 01, has been cancelled.

The show was rumoured to be having problems a few weeks ago but this was denied by the producers who maintained the show will go ahead as planned. The producer of the show, John Gore, told 'The Stage Newspaper' a few weeks ago that the show has not been cancelled and will open on schedule, and Gore retorted that only rehearsals had been suspended for a week. Gore also said that the general management company working on the show had been replaced and they have yet to cast the main principles.

Rumours had suggested that it was the failure of finding appropriate leads for the show which led to its abandonment.
