'Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure' to play in London's Old Bauble Factory
The immersive, original Christmas show from the creative team behind Secret Cinema will play for eight weeks only this holiday season at the Old Bauble Factory.
Your wishes are granted! A new Christmas show, Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure, will premiere in London at Old Bauble Factory under Waterloo station this winter. The eight-week run begins 14 November.
Wishmas is a fully immersive show that plunges audiences into the title winter wonderland, where everyone's wishes go to take flight. This magical land opens its doors to those who believe at Christmas, and audiences get to discover fantasy worlds and meet magical characters as they follow the journeys of their own wishes to Father Christmas.
This spectacular show is from the creators behind Secret Cinema, a producer of immersive theatre experiences that place audiences in the worlds of their favorite movies and TV series including Back to the Future, Dirty Dancing, and Stranger Things.
Wishmas will partner with five premium brands to bring the experience to life. This will include delicious products from Fortnum & Mason and Pip Organise in the Wishmas Village, cutting-edge screens provided by LG's OLED and T-OLED, the beloved children's toy Tonies, and Priority from O" bringing incredible Wishmas experiences to their Priority customers.
The creative team includes Elgiva Field (Creative Director), Michelle McMahon, (Creative Associate Director), Matthew Blake, (Performance Director), Julie Landau, (Designer), Tim Mitchell, (Lighting Designer), Charlie Tymms (Puppet Design and Fabrication), John Bulleid (Illusion Designer), Catherine Woodhouse (Video Designer), and Beth Duke (Sound Designer/Composer).
