    The revolting children in Matilda are staying around for longer! Matilda will play an extended booking period at the Cambridge Theatre, with performances now scheduled through to 18 Dec. 2022.     Alex Jennings will lead the cast of Stephen Beresford's The Southbury Child in London next summer.     John Dagleish originated the role of Bob Cratchit in Jack Thorne's adaptation of A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic.     The Shark is Broken will play an extended booking period at the Ambassadors Theatre, with the show now running for an additional month.     A new 100-seat venue will open in the West End's Seven Dials area next year — aptly named the Seven Dials Playhouse.
