Carrie Cracknell will make her directorial Donmar debut with Mass. Adeel Akhtar, Amari Bacchus, Monica Dolan, Paul Hilton, Lyndsey Marshal, Rochelle Rose, and Susie Trayling star.

The season opens with the world premiere of Sherlock Holmes, a new mystery by Joel Horwood, directed by Sean Holmes and starring Joshua James in the title role.

Booking for the two-part production has extended through 20 September, with the one-part production reopening at the Palace Theatre on 6 October.

Reprising their roles from the show's Almeida run are Liv Hill (Three Girls), Siena Kelly (Black Mirror, Adult Material), and Tanya Reynolds (Sex Education, A Mirror).

The production, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is directed by the original award-winning Broadway director Jason Moore, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty.

Phantom Peak is described as a "fully immersive town filled with interesting characters to meet, interactive quests to complete, and carnival and arcade games to enjoy."

The comedy play focuses on the women who run a bustling Harlem braiding salon. Across one hot summers day, they experience everything from demanding customers to secrets, lies, laughter, and betrayal.

Clive Rowe has been a fixture of the Hackney Empire pantomime for the past two decades, last year directing the venue's Cinderella.

Ardern-Sodje previously performed as Simba in the West End in 2025. He also appeared in the production’s tour of the UK and Ireland.
