Alfie Allen was born in September 1986 in Hammersmith, London and is son of Alison Owen, film producer and brother to singer sister, Lily Allen. After attending the Fine Arts College in Hampstead, Allen went on to appear in various roles in film such as You are Here (1998), Elizabeth (1998) and Atonment (2007). He is also known for his role of Iosef Tarasov in John Wick (2014)
In 2011 Allen was cast for the role of Theon Greyjoy, in the 26 Primtime Emmy Award winning HBO series Game of Thrones, which brought the actor to international attention and acclaim. Allen was nominated for many awards for his role as Theon, including Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series from the Online Film & Television Association Awards.
Allen makes his West End debut in Jesse Eisenberg’s play The Spoils at Trafalgar Studio One. Allen will star alongside, Jesse Eisenberg and Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar. The show is set to run from June 2016 until 13 August 2016. In an interview with us Allen states that The Spoils is ‘younger and more relatable and as a performer it's really got my juices flowing.’
