
Rebecca Lucy Taylor recently brought her "quasi-theatrical experience" A Complicated Woman Live to the West End. She will next star in David Hare’s rebel play Teeth n Smiles at the Duke of York's Theatre.
Known professionally as Self Esteem, she gained widespread recognition for her critically acclaimed albums 'Prioritise Pleasure' and 'Compliments Please', before venturing into theatre. Her stage debut came as Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, and she composed the soundtrack for Prima Facie starring Jodie Comer in London's West End and on Broadway. Her music career has earned her numerous accolades including BBC Music Introducing's Artist of the Year and nominations for the Mercury Prize and BRIT Awards.
