4 short plays by London Grey & Green Theatre

London Grey & Green Theatre Company presents City Slices and Country Crumbs, four new 15-minute plays, chosen from over 60 submissions, at the Hen and Chickens Theatre, a 50-seat fringe venue above Hen & Chickens Theatre Bar Pub, Highbury Corner, north London, 17 to 21 Sep 2013.

These new plays dramatise different experiences of life in England - of privilege and poverty, the inner-city and the rolling hills.

A Little While Longer by Melanie Hunter, directed by Charlie Ely, starring Samantha Leverette. A monologue in which a woman reminisces about her life in early-20thCentury Newcastle.

Chelsea & Henriette by Wendy Thomson, directed by Tessa Shrubsall, cast includes Georgia Clarke-Day, Natasha Lee-Dowd. Comedy about two London girls who wax materialistic on the trials and tribulations of their lives.

Milk by Judy Upton, directed by Tessa Shrubsall, cast includes includes Ben Fensome, Felicity McCormack, Natalie Sheriff. A black comedy in which a young couple discover a dark secret about the British food industry.

The Seaside by Camilla Whitehill, directed by Charlie Ely, cast includes Nicholas Clarke, Nicola Coughlan. A wistful look at life in the seaside town of Hastings through the perspective of two people seeing in the dawn.
