And Then Come The Nightjars at Theatre503

Theatre503 will present And Then Come The Nightjars by Bea Roberts at their venue in Battersea, south London, from 2 to 26 September 2015, in a co-production with Bristol Old Vic.

Paul Robinson will direct with set design by Max Dorey and sound by Max Perryment. Cast includes David Fielder as Michael.

Synopsis: "A farm's struggle to survive the march of history. This is a story of enduring friendship and a requiem for rural England. Reflecting on the Foot and Mouth epidemic of 2001, Nightjars sees how, ten years on, scars are still evident on the landscape and also on the relationships of those the disease affected."

Playright Bea Roberts won Theatre503's inaugural playwriting award and And Then Come The Nightjars marks their first co-production with Bristol Old Vic.
