...And This Is My Friend Mr Laurel at Jermyn Street

KPS Productions and The Finishing Touch Company present ...And This Is My Friend Mr Laurel, by Gail Luow and Jeffrey Holland, at the Jermyn Street Theatre in central London from 27 June to 2 July 2016.

The one-man show stars co-writer Jeffrey Holland as Stan Laurel. Holland is best known for his role as Spike Dixon, the camp comic, in the classic eighties BBC televison situation comedy 'Hi-de-Hi!'. Televison credits also include 'Dixon of Dock Green', 'Are You Being Served', 'Crossroads', 'Dad's Army', 'It Ain't Half Hot Mum', 'You Rang, M'Lord?' and 'Oh, Doctor Beeching!'.

Synposis: "Set in the bedroom of a sick Oliver Hardy, the show takes place during Laurel's visit to the dying man. Recounting their past success as the comedy double act Laurel and Hardy, this is a humorous and touching look at one of the great cinematic partnerships of the last century."

...And This Is My Friend Mr Laurel has previously enjoyed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014 & 2015 and has been on two tours of the UK.
