Cast update for Martin Sherman 's Onassis, which opens at the Novello Theatre 12 Oct 2010, following previews from 30 Sep.

Joining previously mentioned Robert Lindsay (Onassis), are Lydia Leonard (Jackie Kennedy), Anna Francolini (Maria Callas), Tom Austen, Liz Crowther, Ben Grove, Robert Hastie, John Hodgkinson, Sue Kelvin, Graeme Taylor , Gawn Grainger.

This is the true story of the relationships between Aristotle Onassis, his lover Maria Callas, his wife Jackie Kennedy and his long running feud with the Kennedy family and the American establishment. An extraordinary account of one man's voracious appetite for sex, money and power - how those with great wealth and political influence live their lives detached from the moral code and realities of ordinary mortals.

Lydia Leonard has an extensive television career, recently including "Ashes to Ashes", "Casualty 1907". Her stage credits include "Frost/Nixon" at the Donmar Warehouse and she has appeared on stage at both the RSC and the National Theatre.

Anna Francolini has appeared in many West End productions including "Merrily We Roll Along" and "Company", both at the Donmar Warehouse and "Caroline or Change" at the National Theatre, whilst her television work includes "This is Dom Joly" and "Jonathan Creek".

Onassis, which was originally called 'Aristo' when it ran in Chichester in 2008, is directed by Nancy Meckler, designed by Katrina Lindsay, ligfhting by Ben Ormerod, choreography by Lizzi Gee , sound by John Leonard.

The Chichester Festival Theatre production in association with Derby Live is presented in London by Aukin/Vogel for DAP Ltd, Playful Productions, Act Productions and Bob Bartner.
