Cast update for The Family Reunion - Samuel West & Penelope Wilton have been cast in T.S. Eliot 's play, which opens at the Donmar Warehouse, 25 Nov 2008, following previews from 20 Nov - running to to 10 Jan 3009.

It is directed by Jeremy Herrin, designed by Bunny Christie, lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Nick Powell.

After eight years absence, Harry returns to the ancestral home to celebrate his mother's birthday. Tormented by a dark secret, he confides in Aunt Agatha only to discover that the family too have their own hidden demons.

Penelope Wilton's London stage credits include "The Chalk Garden" in 2008 & "John Gabriel Borkman" in 2007 both at the Donmar Warehouse; "House of Bernarda Alba" at the National in 2005; "Afterplay" at the Gielgud in 2002; "Little Foxes" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2001; "The Seagull" at the Barbican in 2000; "Cherry Orchard" at the Albery 1996; "Landscape" at the National in 1994. Her film credits include , The History Boys, Match Point, Pride and Prejudice, Calendar Girls and Iris.

Samuel West's London stage credits include "Betrayal" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2007; "Three Women and a Piano Tuner" at the Hampstead Theatre in 2005; "Hamlet" & "Richard II" for the RSC at the Barbican in 2000/01; "Antony and Cleopatra" at the Olivier, NT in 1998. His TV credits includes The Long Walk to Finchley, Cambridge Spies, Longitude, Edward VII and Persuasion; and for film, Van Helsing, Iris, Pandemonium, Complicity, Notting Hill, Frankie and Johnny, Howard's End and Carrington.
