Casting announced for "Money To Burn" a new musical comedy thriller at The Venue from 29 Sep 03

Casting has been announced for the new musical comedy thriller Money To Burn, by Daniel Abineri, which opens at The Venue, in Leicester Square on 9 Oct 03, following previews from 29 Sep 03, and booking to 17 Jan 04.

Casting includes: Peter Blake, Andrew C Wadsworth, Sarah-Louise Young, Perry Benson, Gabrielle Noble, Camilla, Rachel Lynes, Graham Martin.

The show is directed by Daniel Abineri, designed by David Shields, lighting by Nick Richings and choreography by Michele Thorne. It is produced by Daniel Abineri, Siobhan Houlihan, Paul Savident & Parry .

Peter Blake (Lord Oliver Justin - OJ to his friends) has starred in many of the original West End musicals and plays which include Hair (Shaftesbury Theatre), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Albery Theatre), Jesus Christ Superstar (Palace Theatre) and Run For Your Wife (Shaftesbury and Criterion Theatres). His television appearances cover diverse work from Z Cars, Minder and Jonathan Creek to Top of the Pops.

Andrew C Wadsworth (Hugo, OJ's lawyer) work includes Zip! (Duchess Theatre), Les Miserables (Palace Theatre) and Guys and Dolls (National Theatre). He has had many appearances for Music Theatre London including Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute.

Sarah-Louise Young's (Tiggy, OJ's wife) theatre work includes Snow White (National Theatre) and Drag Queen (Etcetera, Bristol New Vic and Edinburgh Fringe).

Perry Benson (Perkins, OJ's butler) is best remembered for his roles in the television series You Rang M'Lord, Oh Dr. Beeching and Operation Good Guys and for his roles in films such as Quadrophenia. His extensive theatre work includes The Good Woman of Setzuan and Class Enemy (Royal Court) and The Tower of Nesle (Almeida).

Gabrielle Noble (Rosie, a hopeful actress) originally trained as a ballerina and her musical theatre credits include Contact (Queens Theatre), On Your Toes (Royal Festival Hall and Leicester Haymarket), Grease (Dominion and Cambridge Theatres).

Camilla (Angel, The Kitten Club Diva) was a finalist in the BBC's original Fame Academy and appeared in the Fame Academy sell out UK tour and went on to play Maria in Leicester Haymarket's production of West Side Story.

Lord Oliver Justin (OJ to his friends) is an aristocrat, Old Etonian, playboy, gambler, seducer and all round bounder... and, he's down on his luck. He's lost a fortune on the roulette tables and his businesses are going bankrupt due to his massive debts. And now his incredibly wealthy wife, Tiggy, has had enough and refused to give him another penny. What's a good, or even a bad man to do! There is only one way out... he must enlist some help... and his wife... must die! SLEAZE, LIES, KINKY SEX & MURDER!! Part thriller, part farce, part satire, and featuring a twist in the final moments. The twelve original songs are in a jazz pop style.
