Cat On A Hot Tin Roof Full cast announced!

The full cast has been announced for Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, which opens at the Novello Theatre on 1 Dec 2009, following previews from 22 Nov - booking to 10 Apr 2010.

The production opened on Broadway in 2008, and like on Broadway, will feature an all black cast.

Richard Blackwood (Brightie), Derek Griffiths (Reverend Tooker), Nina Sosanya will join the previously announced Sanaa Lathan (Maggie), Adrian Lester (Brick), Phylicia Rashad (Big Mama), James Earl Jones (Big Daddy).

The cast also includes Guy Burgess (Lacey), Claudia Cadette (Nanny), Peter De Jersey (Gooper), Susan Lawson-Reynolds (Sookey), Joseph Mydell (Doctor Baugh).

Debbie Allen, as on Broadway, will direct and will be produced in London by its Broadway producers Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones.

It is designed by Morgan Large, costumes by Fay Fullerton, lighting by David Holmes, sound by Richard Brooke.
