The musical is inspired by the lives of Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel.

After performances in 2019, Charlie and Stan will return to stages across the country this summer. Charlie and Stan will be performed in Bath and at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, ahead of a West End transfer.

In 1910, Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel travelled together as part of Fred Karno's music hall troupe. Sailing from Liverpool to New York, the pair formed a great bond, but by the end of the journey, they drifted apart. As their careers progressed indepedently, could Charlie and Stan reconcile their differences?

Charlie and Stan is written and directed by Paul Hunter, with original music by Zoe Rahman and choreography by ZooNation's Nuna Sandy. Casting for the regional performances, as well as the London run is to be announced.

Charlie and Stan is at Theatre Royal Bath from 14 - 24 July, and the Minack Theatre in Cornwall from 1 - 12 August.
