Country Life by Peter Briffa at Rada GBS Theatre 15 Aug

Player Playwrights presents Country Life, by Peter Briffa, at the RADA, GBS Theatre, in central London, from 15 to 20 Aug 2011, as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.

Cast includes Marji Campi (from Coronation Street, Brookside, EastEnders), Chris Bearne, David Forest.

It is directed by Paul Blinkhorn designed by Aaron J. Dootson, sound by Simon James Cookson.

Pensioners? Senior citizens? Coffin dodgers? Call them what you like. In Peter Briffa's darkly comic play, Ken, Jim and Barbara certainly do. But at their age maybe they're entitled. At the funeral of an old friend, in the serene Devon countryside a surprise visitor arrives, opening up a hornets' nest and confronting everyone with memories that they would rather forget.
