Illusionist Derren Brown has announced he will be returning to London this autumn with his show, Underground.

Brown, who is known for his many Channel 4 specials and live shows, has announced Underground will be returning to London as part of a UK tour. The show, which is a compilation of best bits from previous live shows, ran at Charing Cross Theatre earlier this year.

It will run at the Playhouse Theatre from 11 September to 14 October.

Brown recently made his US theatre debut with Secret, which opened at the Atlantic Theater before touring the UK. His previous live shows include Enigma, Svengali, Miracle and Infamous, and his famous television specials have seen Brown predict the National Lottery live, cure a man's fear of flying, and play Russian roulette live on television.

Brown's began his career performing traditional close-up magic at bars and restaurants whilst at university, before scoring his first television series, Mind Control in 2000. Now, he has won two Olivier Awards for best Entertainment with Svengali (2012) and Something Wicked This Way Comes (2006), and also received a nomination for the 2010 show Enigma. He also has a theme park ride at Thorpe Park.

Announcing the return of Underground, Derren Brown said: "I left England a little while ago, and it all went weird. Brexit, phone hacking, Wikileaks, Thatcher resigned... so I'm going to come back and make everything fine.

"Underground is made up of favourite bits from my past seven shows, put together to form its own show."
