FANY (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) - Above The Arts

Anonymous Is A Woman presents FANY (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) at the Above the Arts Theatre for a three week run from 15 March to 2 April 2016.

Described as a "tale of comradeship and the ordinary women who did extraordinary things" and cast includes Madeleine Gould, Bips Mawson, Henri, Merriman, Leila Sykes and Stella Taylor.

"Story of the women who drove ambulances from the front line of the bloody battlefield to the nearby hospitals in France. A play about about courage, bravery & redemption, which immerses you in the front-line reality of the Great War from a rarely seen perspective... a woman's."

The production is based on real accounts from the F.A.N.Y. records and the Imperial War Museum and is inspired by the novel 'Across The Blood-Red Skies' by Robert Radcliffe.
