Full cast announced for Matthew Perry's West End Play

Full casting has now been announced for 'Friends' star Matthew Perry's new play The End of Longing, which will have its world premiere at the Playhouse Theatre in London's West End where it will run from 2 February to 14 May 2016, with an official opening on 11 February 2016.

Joining Perry in the four-hander will also be Christina Cole, Jennifer Mudge, and Lloyd Owen.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, it is described as a "fast paced and bittersweet comic new play" and will reunite the pair following their first West End collaboration on 'Sexual Perversity in Chicago' at the Comedy Theatre in 2003.

"Meet Jack, Stephanie, Joseph and Stevie: four lost souls, entering their forties and searching for meaning. After sharing one raucous night together in a downtown Los Angeles bar, their lives become irreversibly entwined in a rollercoaster journey that forces them to confront the darker sides of their relationships."

The Canadian-American actor and writer Perry is most well known for creating the role of 'Chandler Bing' in the long running sitcom 'Friends' which has been shown across the world. His TV and film credits include 'The Ron Clark Story', 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip', 'Fools Rush In', 'The Whole Nine Yards', and '17 Again'. He was last seen in the West End in 2003 in David Mamet's play 'Sexual Perversity in Chicago'.

Lloyd Owen recently starred in the West End premiere of 'The Bodyguard' at the Adelphi Theatre. Other stage credits include 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' at the Almeida Theatre and Aldwych Theatre, 'Closer' at the Lyric Theatre, 'Julius Caesar' at the Young Vic and 'Paul' at the National Theatre.

Jennifer Mudge is an American actress whose Broadway credits include 'The Philanthropist' opposite Matthew Broderick and 'The Dutchman' off-Broadway. She recently starred in the Roundabout Theatre's reinvention of 'Into the Woods' starring as The Witch. Her television credits include 'Law and Order', 'The Good Wife' and 'All My Children'.

Christina Cole is an English actress whose London credits include 'The Lightning Play' at the Almeida Theatre. She has starred in films such as 'Casino Royale', 'Jupiter Ascending' and 'What a Girl Wants' and TV shows such as 'The Blacklist', 'Suits' and 'Silent Witness'.
