Ahead of performances next month, the full cast of 15 Heroines has been announced. 15 Heroines will be performed in an empty Jermyn Street Theatre, with performances available to stream from 9-14 November.

Actresses including Patsy Ferran, Eleanor Tomlinson and Gemma Whelan will star in the new works, all retelling the stories of women in classical myths. The upcoming series of plays includes writing by April de Angelis and Juliet Gilkes Romero.

Discussing the productions, Jermyn Street Theatre artistic director Tom Littler said: "These fifteen plays are more exciting than we could have dreamed - inventive, funny, angry and moving responses to Ovid's originals. They are proof of the enduring power of classical myths, and the constant renewal and reinvention of how we tell stories."

The War will combine five stories all set during the Trojan War. Gemma Whelan will star in The War, previously appearing in Upstart Crow at the Gielgud Theatre. The cast is completed by Jemima Rooper, Ann Ogbomo, Rebekah Murrell and Sophia Eleni.

Best known for her performance in BBC's Poldark, Eleanor Tomlinson will star in The Desert. The Desert will follow five mythical women as they set out to confront those who have wronged them. Casting is completed by Indra Ové, Rosalind Eleazar, Nicholle Cherrie and Martina Laird.

After her Olivier Award-winning performance in Summer and Smoke, Patsy Ferran joins the cast of The Labyrinth. When relationships become entangled, individuals are accused of infidelity. Olivia Williams, Nadine Marshall, Doña Croll and Nathalie Armin complete the cast.

Each play will be performed three times during the week of 9-14 November.
