Full casting announced to join Jason Donovan and Sheridan Smith in Joseph at the Palladium

Complete casting for this summer's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium has been announced.

Joining the previously confirmed Jason Donovan as the Pharaoh, Sheridan Smith and West End debutante Jac Yarrow as Joseph are Richard Carson as Reuben, Michael Pickering as Simeon, Jack Wilcox, James Ballantyne, Joshua Steel, Femi Akinfolarin and Carl Spencer as the brothers.

Vanessa Fisher, Casey Al-Shaqsy, Emily Ann Potter, Thalia Burt, Harriet Samuel Gray, Kelsie-Rae Marshall and Georgina Parkinson join the cast as the wives, with Michael Cortez and Matt Krzan as the guards.

Casting is completed by Hannah Taylor, Ahmed Hamad, Matthew Rowland, Blythe Jandoo and Lydia Bannister, as well as 32 children who make up the rotating children's ensemble.

Based on the book of Genesis as told in the Bible, Joseph follows the tale of a privileged man later sold into slavery by his brothers. With original music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, the musical features songs including "Any Dream Will Do", "Go, Go, Go Joseph" and "Close Every Door".

The musical received its West End premiere at the London Palladium in 1991, with Jason Donovan in the lead role. In 2007, the musical was revived starring Lee Mead in the lead role after a nationwide televised competition.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is at the London Palladium from 27th June to 8th September.
