The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Ricky Dukes, at the Jack Studio Theatre, in Brockley, south London, 19 Nov to 7 Dec 2013. Set against a global financial meltdown. Antonio, with assets tied to investments, finds his commitments lead him to one of the greatest characters of all time, Shylock. Their embittered rivalry leads to a fight to the death. Venice will never be the same again.
