An official cast recording of Marianne Elliott's West End production of Company has been released, featuring Stephen Sondheim's songs recorded with the lead role as a woman for the first time.

Elliott's production swapped the role of Bobby, usually a man, to Bobbi, a woman played by Rosalie Craig, for the first time. It also saw one of the character's friends Amy become a man called Jamie, and part of a same-sex couple with fiancé Paul, as well as the three girlfriends becoming three boyfriends.

The cast recording, which is available to buy and stream online, features songs from the show such as "Being Alive", "Marry Me A Little", "The Ladies Who Lunch" and "Getting Married Today". You can listen to the album below.

Alongside Craig, the company includes Patti LuPone, Jonathan Bailey, Alex Gaumond, Mel Giedroyc, Ben Lewis, Gavin Spokes and Richard Fleeshman.

Company, which opened at the Gielgud Theatre in October 2018, runs in the West End until 30th March with tickets still available for the remainder of the run.
