Little Shop of Horrors transfers to Duke of York's from 6 March

The Menier Chocolate Factory production of Little Shop of Horrors will transfer to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre, opening 12 March 2007, following previews from 6 March - booking to 2 June 2007.

The show has book and Lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken.

Directed by Matthew White, the cast includes: Sheridan Smith (Audrey), Paul Keating (Seymour), Barry James (Mushnik), Alistair McGowan (The Dentist and others), Jenny Fitzpatrick, Katie Kerr, Melitsa Nicola, Matthew Eames

It has designs and costumes by David Farley, choreography by Lynne Page, lighting by Paul Anderson, musical supervision by Caroline Humphris and sound design by Gareth Owen.

Down and out Skid Row floral assistant Seymour becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon 'Audrey II' grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore offering him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite... but as Audrey II's hungry demands increase, all that Seymour holds dear is threatened as the plant's sinister agenda for global domination is revealed....

It is produced in the West End by David Babani for Chocolate Factory Productions, Bob Boyett, the Frankel/Baruch/Viertel/Routh Group and Stephanie McClelland
