"Mamma Mia!" now bookiing to 29 Sep 2007

Mamma Mia! tickets are now on sale for new 8 month booking period 29 Jan 2007 to 29 Sep 2007 at the Prince of Wales Theatre

Based on the songs of ABBA, Mamma Mia! opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6th April 1999, following previews from 23rd March 1999. It transferred to the Prince of Wales theatre on 3 June 2004.

The current cast includes: Helen Hobson (Donna Sheridan), Joanna Monro (Rosie), Geraldine Fitzgerald (Tanya) , Tasha Sheridan (Sophie Sheridan), Iain Fletcher (Sam Carmichael), James Lailey (Harry Bright), Paul Hawkyard (Bill Austin), Gareth Derrick as (Sky), Miriam Elwell-Sutton (Ali), Louise McCarthy (Lisa), Ben Heathcote (Pepper), Graham Tudor (Eddie). At certain performances the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Lucy Harris.

The show has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

This original musical, which is a story of a mother and daughter set on the eve of the daughter's wedding, has a book by Catherine Johnson.

It is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

It is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.

Mamma Mia! has already been seen by more than 27 million people in over 130 cities across North America, Australia, Europe and Asia. It has grossed over $1.6 billion at the box office worldwide. The original London production opened in 1999 and has been seen by over 4 million people at over 2,900 performances, grossing over £145 million at the UK Box Office.
