Michael Ahomka-Lindsay to star in 'Cabaret' at the Kit Kat Club

Ahomka-Lindsay has appeared as Jack Kelly in Newsies at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre and as Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

Michael Ahomka-Lindsay is set to join the cast of Cabaret at London's Kit Kat Club as Clifford Bradshaw. He will begin performances from 11 March.

The Newsies and Legally Blonde star takes over the role from Nathan Ives-Moiba, whose final performance will be tomorrow (27 January). The role will be played by Taite-Elliot Drew between 29 January and 9 March.

Ahomka-Lindsay joins Beverley Klein as Fraulein Schneider, Teddy Kempner as Herr Schultz, Wilf Scolding as Ernst Ludwig, and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie. Nic Myers plays the role of Sally Bowles once a week. Casting for Emcee and Sally Bowles from 11 March 2024 is yet to be announced.

The show is directed by Rebecca Frecknall, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt and choreography by Julia Cheng. The rest of the creative team includes Jennifer Whyte (musical supervision), Ben Ferguson (musical direction), Isabella Byrd (lighting design), and Nick Lidster (sound design).

A Broadway production with Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin is also in the works, opening in April.
