Morecambe and Wise show Eric and Ern to run at Duke of York’s Theatre
Morecambe and Wise show Eric & Ern is set to return to the West End in 2020 for two nights at the Duke of York's Theatre featuring special guest Ruthie Henshall.
Starring Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens as the eponymous comedy legends Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise, the duo will perform a number of classic sketches made famous on shows such as The Morecambe and Wise Show. The show will also feature new material with the blessing of the Morecambe and Wise estates.
Ruthie Henshall, most recently seen in the West End in Chicago, will also join the production on both nights.
Ashpitel and Stephens' previous show about the comedy legends, Eric and Little Ernie, was nominated for an Olivier Award for best entertainment and family in 2014.
Eric and Ern will run at the Duke of York's Theatre on 2nd and 9th February 2020.
