Natasha Hamilton 'Mrs Johnstone' in Blood Brothers 24 Jan

Former Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton cast as 'Mrs Johnstone' in Blood Brothers from 24 Jan to 30 July 2011, at the Phoenix Theatre. She will be making her West End stage debut.

The show currently features Lyn Paul as 'Mrs Johnstone' to 20 Nov, and then Maureen Nolan as 'Mrs Johnstone' from 22 Nov to 22 Jan 2011, before Natasha Hamilton takes over the role on 24 Jan 2011.

Blood Brothers is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright. The design is by Marty Flood and the musical director is Rod Edwards.

Blood Brothers premiered in the West End in April 1983 at the Lyric Theatre and closed in October 1983. Bill Kenwright picked up the rights to the musical in 1987, and a re-vamped Blood Brothers and was revived at the Albery Theatre, in July 1988, before transferring to the Phoenix Theatre in November 1991, where it is currently taking bookings to 26 Nov 2011.

The story concerns a pair of twins from Liverpool who are separated at birth. Later in life their paths cross in friendship and anger.
