New musical 'Rosie' to have gala performance in the West End
The new musical tells the remarkable true story of Miss Rosie Boote, who was raised in a convent in Ireland and dreamed of becoming a star in the West End in Edwardian London.
New musical Rosie will have a one-night-only gala performance at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on 17 March 2026.
The musical tells the remarkable true story of Miss Rosie Boote, who was raised in a convent in Ireland and dreamed of becoming a star in the West End in Edwardian London.
Lucy Thomas, who broke through at the age of 14 on ITV1’s The Voice Kids, will star in the title role, with further casting and creatives to be announced.
A studio cast album for Rosie was released in 2024, and includes songs such as "Starlight", "Suddenly", and "Broken Dreams".
Rosie has an original concept, music and lyrics by composer Chris Broom.
