No Quarter by Polly Stenham cast at Royal Court Upstairs

Casting has been announced for No Quarter, by Polly Stenham, which opens at the Royal Court Upstairs, 16 Jan 2013, following previews 11 Jan - running to 9 Feb 2013.

Cast includes Maureen Beattie, Zoe Boyle, Alexa Davies, Taron Egerton, Joshua James, Patrick Kennedy, Jenny Rainsford , Tom Sturridge.

Directed by Jeremy Herrin, designed by Tom Scutt, lighting by Philip Gladwell, sound by Fergus O'Hare.

New play asking what is the right way to live? Fleeing a world he has rejected, Robin finds solace in his music and the sanctuary of his remote family home. But as his kingdom begins to crumble around him, how far will he go to save it and at what cost?

Maureen Beattie is well known for playing Nurse Sandra Nicholl in Casualty. Zoe Boyle include Six Degrees of Separation at the Old Vic. On screen, she played Lavinia Swire in ITV's Downton Abbey. Alexa Davies will be making her professional stage debut. Taron Egerton include The Last of the Haussmans at the National Theatre. Joshua James credits include Love and Information at the Royal Court. Patrick Kennedy TV credits include Murder on the Home Front (NBC), Boardwalk Empire, Parade's End and on film, War Horse and Pirates of the Caribbean and Atonement. Jenny Rainsford credits include The Importance of Being Earnest at the Rose Theatre Kingston. Tom Sturridge last appeared at the Royal Court in Wastwater. Other credits include Punk Rock at the Lyric Hammersmith.
