NOEL COWARD AUCTION - 12th DEC 2000

It is reported that many items related to NOEL COWARD  are to be offered for sale  at a Christie's film and entertainment auction in South Kensington on 12th Dec 00. 

Amongst the items is the piano Coward used to write  'Mad Dogs and Englishmen', 'Bitter Sweet', 'Follow My Secret Heart' and others.  The John Broadwood and Sons piano was bought by Coward in 1927 for his home in Kent.   

It is thought that the piano will fetch around 10,000.

Other auction items include two paintings by Noel Coward himself.
